REFLECTION ON TODAY’S READINGS Alleluia! He has Risen!!
Today’s Gospel captures the excitement of the apostles on that first Easter morning. It gives us also a glimpse into their new-found happiness as they hurried to spread the Good News. The joy of the apostles is meant to be our joy too. A new dimension should enter into our lives too for we also have been given this bright promise of everlasting life. Easter is about the joy of rebirth in the spirit of God and we don’t have to wait until the next life to enjoy it. Easter life isNOW. We rejoice as we realize that we are not walking the pathway of life alone. Christ is with us at every step of our life as our Saviour, our Redeemer, and our Healer.

Butterfly Memory Tree - will be placed in Star of the Sea Church for Easter Sunday, April 4 and will remain until Pentecost Sunday, May 23 . If you wish to remember a loved one in this manner please fill out a Memorial Card. A minimum donation of $5.00 is requested per Butterfly. Donations will be deposited to the parish of your choice.
Game of Chance - Aa profit of $1,405.00 was realized, thank you so very much.

ST. AGNES PARISH NEWS
Straw Draw - a profit of $2,750.00 has been realized. There are a few straws left and these can be purchased at the hall. A very HUGE thank you to all who supported and organized this event.
ST. JOSEPH NEWS
Straw Booth - plans are underway to have a straw draw at the Parish Hall on the May Long Weekend. We are looking for prizes for this event, if you have an item to donate, please drop it off at the Hall.
